Tell us what you like to write about in your lyrics.
My music is mainly dance music so I like to keep music and lyrics easy to listen to and to dance. I don’t have a favorite topic for lyrics but my music is mainly about love, as I believe love is the most powerful energy in the Universe.

State your most emotional song and the reason.
Well, the most emotional song is one of the next ones I will release this year and it is emotional because it was the first song I wrote for a while when lockdown started and my wife told me she was pregnant… a lot of feelings all in one song!

Discuss the process of finding the right sound for your vocals.
I usually loop the vocals around the hook and I start to play with my midi keyboard to identify the scale of the vocals and the right chord progression and after that, I move to write a melody to go with the vocals: at this stage, I still use a simple piano sound.
Once I have identified chord progression and melody, I look for preset sounds as close as possible as the sound I have in mind and, after that, it is just a matter of fine-tuning those presets to sound exactly as I want them to sound.

State the challenges you have faced as a musician/artist.
Every day I face a challenge and every day I learn something new. Some days it is about technical challenges: difficult chords, learning a new synth, sculpting the right sound, finding the right voice for my music. Some other days it is about other challenges like marketing my music, planning for social media content, connecting with other artists for collaborations, etc. But the most important thing is, with every challenge, I always learn a valuable lesson.

Tell us if you consider sharing your music with the world or a specific geographical zone.
I never put boundaries to my music: I always write music for everyone, regardless of location.

Tell us your genre of music.
I make dance music with heavy influences from trance, techno, and house music.

State the title of your best song and share the link.
‘Tightest’ is the song I like the most so far. It was a collaboration with UK rapper Miss Ling and you can listen to it here:

Tell us the artists that have impacted you.
Every song I listen to influences me. My main influences are Daft Punk, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Deadmau5, Above & Beyond, The Chemical Brothers, Tiesto, Armin van Buuren but also the classics like Ludovico Einaudi, Beethoven, Mozart, and Bach, just to mention a few.

Describe the listeners that listen to your music.
My audience is equally split between male and female, between 18 and 25 years old across the globe. They like to gather with their friends to party and to have fun.

Discuss the future of the music business.
Everything is changing in unexpected ways… Who knows what is going to happen next? But what we know is that the music business will grow and become even stronger, especially after COVID-19 when people want to get together and have fun.

Discuss the gains and losses of technology to the music business.
Technology made many things possible. Today, everybody can start to make music with just a laptop but only ten years ago this was not possible: you needed expensive gear and the knowledge to operate that gear.
On the other hand, I think that while making music with a laptop is great, it is still important to have physical contact with musical instruments and so playing a keyboard or a guitar can help our creativity and lead us to paths otherwise we would not explore.
The bottom line is to be grateful for how technology made making music accessible but keep experimenting and playing music also with your hands.

Elaborate on the song.
“Deeper Love” is mainly a deep house song with which borrows sounds from trance music and vocals from soul house. The song was written while I was on holiday and I think the sea and the summer inspired the song.

Elaborate on your artist’s name.
Nothing fancy about my artist name, that is just the name I use when I perform as a musician.
